Ocean FCL - Container Transport

Our Ocean FCL (Full Container Load) helicopter transport solution provides a flexible and cost-efficient shipping option using 40ft Flat Rack (40FR), 40ft High Cube (40HC), and 40ft Open Top containers, depending on aircraft dimensions and project requirements.

For 40ft Flat Rack (40FR) operations, helicopters are typically dismantled in accordance with manufacturer procedures. Major components such as rotor blades (MRB/TRB), avionics, and support equipment are packed and crated, while the fuselage and oversized sections are loaded as out-of-gauge (OOG) cargo on the Flat Rack preferably on Walls Up Configuration, classified as over-height and/or over-width depending on aircraft configuration. This option is ideal for larger aircraft that cannot fit within enclosed container dimensions.

For 40ft High Cube (40HC) solutions, certain helicopter models can be accommodated with optimized positioning and minimal disassembly. The aircraft and components are securely stowed inside the container, offering the most economical solution due to reduced handling, simplified loading, and lower transport costs.

For 40ft Open Top containers, helicopters or major components that exceed standard container height constraints can be safely loaded from the top using crane operations. This option provides additional flexibility for taller configurations while maintaining containerized protection and compatibility with regular liner services.
